Dr. Mitchell is Board Certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care. He has been serving the Phoenix Metropolitan area since 2012. His medical career has focused on trauma, emergency general surgery, and surgical critical care. This has included clinical care, along with hospital administrative roles as Trauma Medical Director and participation in the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma at the State, Regional, and National levels. He was the 4th Chair of the Verification Review Committee (oversees the verification of trauma center site visits) and has participated as a site reviewer in over 300 trauma center site visits.
